WordPress 2.5 Auto Plugin Upgrade

WordPress 2.5 มี feature นี้ด้วย ช่วยให้เราประหยัดขั้นตอนไม่ต้อง download แล้ว upload อีกที แค่คลิ๊กเดียวก็เสียวได้ แต่ช้าก่อน มีผู้รู้เขาบอกว่าให้ระวังอย่าเพิ่งรีบร้อนไปใช้จะซวยเอาได้ เนื่องจาก- ไม่ได้ deactivate และ activate กลับให้เราโดยอัตโนมัติ
- ถ้ามี instruction พิเศษจาก plugin author ก็ไม่ทำให้นะจ๊ะ
- ถ้า plugin ตัวนั้นเราลงไว้ที่ root directory เช่น ../wp-content/plugins/xxx.php ดันสร้าง sub-directory ให้เฉยเลย กลายเป็นเยี่ยงนี้ ../wp-content/plugins/xxx/xxx.wp อย่างนี้ก็ก่อให้เกิดความสับสนและ plugin ก็จะไม่ทำงานซะงั้น

คุณ rangwan ช่วยสอนวิธีลง runPHP หน่อยสิครับ
ผมจะรู้ได้ยังไงล่ะครับว่าผมติดตั้ง runPHP สำเร็จพร้อมใช้งานแล้ว
คือ ผมลองลงแล้ว ดูที่หัวข้อ Plugin ก็เห็น runPHP active อยู่ แต่พอลองเขียน
post แล้วใส่คำสั่งนี้ไป มันก็ไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้นน่ะครับ1- Unzip the contents of this file (the entire `runPHP` directory)
into: `/wp-content/plugins/`2- In “Options > Writing”
* **Turn off** “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML
automatically”
* Do *not* use this with the visual rich editor3- Visit the “Options > runPHP” page and set who can use the plugin
(default is Administrators)4- Create a post and check the “run PHP code?” checkbox to enable PHP code
to be dropped in to your postขั้นตอนที่ 1 ผมทำเสร็จแล้ว
ขั้นตอนที่ 2 ไม่ค่อยเข้าใจเท่าไหร่
ขั้นตอนที่ 3 ผมเข้าไปดูใน Options แต่ไม่เห็นมี runPHP เลยน่ะครับ
ขั้นตอนที่ 4 ก็ไม่ค่อยเข้าใจเท่าไหร่ -
เอ่อ คุณซิลวาคงต้องเข้าไป activate plugin หลังจาก upload เสร็จแล้วก่อนมังคะ ถ้า activate เรียบร้อยแล้วก็จะเป็น runPHP ปรากฎใน Options ค่ะ จากนั้นเวลาจะใช้งานต้องเข้าไปแก้ไข user profile ของผู้ใช้งาน ให้ไม่ใช้ visual rich editor ก่อน ไม่งั้น WordPress จะคอยชัดการเติม PHP, HTML, JavaScript ต่างๆ ให้จน PHP code ที่เราเขียนผิดเพี้ยนไปค่ะ
ลองดูนะคะ ได้ไม่ได้อย่างไรมาบอกกันบ้าง

ล่าสุด WordPress 2.5 ตัวจริงแก้เรื่องไม่ deactivate กับ activate อัตโนมัติแล้ว

เย้.. ทำได้แล้วครับ
WordPress 2.5 ทำให้ใช้งานได้ง่ายกว่าเยอะเลยครับ
