Sun acquires MySQL January 16th, 2008 This morning, Sun Microsystems announced plans to acquire MySQL AB.
เป็นเรื่องน่าตระหนก หรือตื่นเต้นดีเนี่ย แต่ผู้ก่อตั้ง MySQL มองในแง่บวกนะ เขาว่่าดีลนี้น่าจะทำใ้ห้เกิดอะไรๆ ที่ดียิ่งขึ้นไป

ผมมองว่าเป็นเรื่องดีนะ … Sun ไม่ซื้อแล้วเอาไปทิ้งแน่นอน รวมถึง community version ของ MySQL ก็คงจะยังอยู่ด้วยเหมือนกัน
