The Royal Trophy 2007

Thailand hosts for the Royal Trophy 2007 – Europe vs Asia Golf Championship. The tournament will be held on January 12-14, 2007 at highly prestigious Amata Spring Country Club in Bangkok.

The Royal Trophy brings together some of the very best golfers from Europe and Asia to compete in a fantastic series of sixteen matches of foursomes, four-ball and singles.

The 1st edition of the Championship was held earlier this year and turned out to be a tremendous success with record breaking galleries, beautiful weather, great coverage by the “media-at-large”, excellent live television broadcast, a great display of highly competitive golf, an amazing “come back” effort by the Asian Team on the final day, the European Team gaining (by the smallest margin 9-7) stewardship over the perpetual Royal Trophy donated by His Majesty the King of Thailand and a great atmosphere all around.
